Job Description

1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Digient's strategic business plans.
2. Define the technology vision, strategy and long term architectural roadmap to meet Digient's future needs.
3. Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the technologies and architecture in place at Digient, including maintaining current and future state architecture plans.
4. Promotes architectural plans and design approaches to help delivery teams effectively implement the technology strategy.
5. Lead a team of Platform and Data architects, ensuring a cohesive approach is adopted across all of Digient's technology platforms.
6. Create and maintain an appropriate level of documentation to ensure efficient and consistent communication of designs, requirements and standards.
7. Maintain up to date knowledge of IT industry best practices and emerging technologies and architectural paradigms.
8. Evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate into the technology vision and architectural road map.
9. Own the enterprise architecture and enterprise technology standards and conventions at Digient.
10. Establish, maintain and evolve appropriate agile / lean processes and methodologies for Enterprise Architecture at Digient, including architectural governance.

What We Are Looking For:

1. Experience leading or working as part of an enterprise architecture team.
2. Familiarity with one or more Enterprise Architecture methodologies or frameworks.
3. The ability to understand and talk strategically about business priorities.
4. In-depth knowledge of modern cloud based technology architectures and design paradigms and experience applying them in collaboration with engineering teams.
5. In depth practical knowledge of one or more cloud computing platforms and related 3rd party architectural components.
6. High levels of confidence and authority, combined with well developed emotional intelligence.
7. Excellent collaboration, persuasion, negotiation and problem solving skills.
8. Experience leading through effective communication and influence in a global environment.
9. Familiarity with architecture in the context of agile engineering practices.
10. Experience in highly scalable data and software architecture platforms.
11. Always ready to dive deep into challenges and guide development teams to resolve technical issues.
