In celebration of all things that make Digient the warm workplace that it is, we’re sharing experiences of some of the employees who have been with Digient from when it was just a mere start-up. To hear them express their feelings so very fondly and with a sparkle in the eye, tells a lot about what Digient has accomplished in terms of employee retention.
When Mothilal joined the Company in 2007, as a Graphic designer, Digient was a newly born baby. Having gained a couple of years of experience in his previous Company, he states that he felt “immediately at home” in Digient. The passion and love for his craft found a clear-cut creative space in his new Organisation, Digient helped him thrive. With time, the Company has consistently grown from strength to strength and Mothilal continues to pour passion into his dream job.
Mr. Karthiban is also a senior employee who has been with Digient since the very beginning. In our conversation, Karthiban expressed his gratitude towards his Organisation. He said “Working in a start-up has helped me gain a comprehensive exposure. I’m thankful to Digient for not limiting me to my area of expertise”. Additionally, he states that "The Company fosters strong core values. It helps create a shared understanding on, ‘How to work together’ and sets the tone for, ‘How to treat one another". Digient has been an integral part of Karthiban’s learning process. He credits the knowledge that he has amassed, over the years, solely to Digient Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
While in a conversation with Azeem, he explicitly shared the workplace camaraderie and the sense of community that he experiences during work. We asked Azeem about the reasons for his long stay with the Organisation, and his response truly captured the essence of Digient. Besides flexible work arrangements and professional development opportunities, he says, "The key strength of our Company is its Founder, Mr. Johnson. He is a good leader, a good friend and an exceptional boss".
Some of the key factors cited by the employees revealed the "excellent work-life balance" in Digient. When business leaders encourage a healthier work-life balance, it invariably boosts employee productivity.
We asked Digient’s employees to describe their overall experience, and some of their much appreciated moments in the Organisation. They were prompt and unanimous in their response, “The Company recognizes and gives credit where it’s due”. "We have a very family-like culture,” said Azeem, he didn’t elaborate but the gleam in his eyes indicated how pleased everyone was in their Organisation. What more? Suffice to say that the collaborative work culture, flexible approach, consistent steps and teamwork have successfully solidified "The Digient Family".
